With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akira Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ludovic Presle!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Akira Maeda has been cut.
Akira Maeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maeda chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Maeda looks for the body kick but Presle saw that one coming.
Maeda misses with a head kick.
Maeda pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Maeda looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maeda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Presle.
Maeda throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A good leg kick by Maeda.
The crowd cheers as Maeda lands an impressive looking overhand right. Presle doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Ludovic Presle has been cut.
Maeda scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Presle takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Presle looks winded!
Maeda is looking to land body kicks.
Presle tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Presle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maeda misses with a head kick.
Maeda darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Maeda turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Maeda lets loose with a powerful body kick. Presle will feel that in the morning.
Maeda connects with an inside leg kick.
Presle takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Maeda sends Presle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Maeda is motioning to the referee to let Presle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Presle is rocked!
Maeda lands an uppercut, right on the button! Presle tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Akira Maeda really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Al's Supplements - 160 Q for $150 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
