Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Nobriga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobriga comes to the cage accompanied by Queen's We Will Rock You. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nobriga.
Nobriga scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.

Silva might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Nobriga looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Nobriga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silva throws a hook to the side of Nobriga's head but Nobriga sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Silva is trying to pull guard but Nobriga turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Nobriga throws a front kick aimed at Silva's knee but Silva avoids it well.

Silva is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nobriga had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Max Nobriga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo Silva.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silva clobbers Nobriga with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nobriga lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Max Nobriga will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
That kick from Nobriga tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ronaldo Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nobriga buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nobriga rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nobriga under the eye.

Silva's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Nobriga sends Silva crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nobriga is motioning to the referee to let Silva up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BOOM! Nobriga lands a beautiful left hook that drops Silva. Silva tries to recover but Nobriga is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Silva lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Nobriga!

Max Nobriga decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
