Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dieter Berger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shannon Bannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berger's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cheeseburger In Paradise. Shannon Bannon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shannon Bannon!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bannon looks to land a right hand but Berger moved out of range.
Berger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bannon sprawls well initially but Berger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bannon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Berger.
Still in half guard, Berger seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bannon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Berger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Berger trying to control from half guard but Bannon is working away.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Berger is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Berger connects with a nice short shot to Bannon's temple.

Bannon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Berger scores with a couple of nice shots.
Berger seems to be looking for submissions.

Berger sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bannon defending well though.
Berger looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Berger thows a huge punch but Bannon dodges it nicely.
Bannon pushes Berger off but Berger dives into side control.
Berger has knee on belly and moves into mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Berger lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bannon hang on?

Berger sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Berger loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bannon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Berger land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Berger stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dieter Berger!
