Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Sutter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Nieds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutter misses the shot to the body.

Mark Sutter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nieds lands a really nice looking cross but Sutter seems unphased.
Nieds lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Mark Sutter has been cut.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nieds.
Nieds looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nieds misses with an uppercut. Sutter saw that one coming.

Nieds lands a left and a right that send Sutter crashing to the mat, dazed. Nieds thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sutter is rocked!
Sutter is aggressively charging in as Nieds backs up avoiding any damage. Nieds tosses out a jab and Sutter runs right into it face first! Sutter is out cold! Nieds dropped down on all fours and is barking in Sutter's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Todd Nieds!

A very excited looking Todd Nieds rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
