Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Makarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bambang Ridwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makarov comes into the arena with Ruskej rapec je klasa blaring out of the sound system. Ridwan has chosen Garuda di Dadaku-Netral as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Igor Makarov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Igor Makarov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridwan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Makarov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ridwan is in Makarov's guard.
Ridwan throws a big elbow that misses.
Makarov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ridwan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Makarov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ridwan on the ground.
Ridwan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Makarov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ridwan throwing strikes from guard but Makarov blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ridwan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Makarov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ridwan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ridwan postures up in Makarov's guard and throws a big left but Makarov blocks it.
Ridwan with a nice head shot there.
Ridwan stops Makarov from standing up.
Ridwan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ridwan trying to control the position from guard on top but Makarov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ridwan throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ridwan stays in close to Makarov's body and controls the position.
Ridwan is looking to work some ground and pound but Makarov has wrist control.
Makarov wants to stand up but Ridwan is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ridwan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Makarov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ridwan throwing strikes from guard but Makarov blocks nicely.
Makarov keeping moving, preventing Ridwan from controlling successfully.
Ridwan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Makarov's guard.
Ridwan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Makarov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Makarov tries to get out of the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ridwan stalling away here and it's allowed Makarov to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Ridwan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ridwan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Makarov's head.
Ridwan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Makarov is keeping the position for now.
Ridwan slips nicely into half guard.
Ridwan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Makarov is staying active underneath Ridwan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Makarov looks like he's trying to stand up.

Makarov is trying to stand back up but Ridwan is controlling him
Ridwan missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ridwan is trying to control the action in half guard but Makarov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ridwan throwing shots but Makarov is blocking nicely.
Makarov is breathing heavily.
Ridwan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Makarov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ridwan scores with a couple of nice shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ridwan is trying for a kimura here. Makarov looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ridwan wins by kimura!
