Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson tries to sprawl but Gonzalez drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gonzalez takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Tyson trying to hold on to Gonzalez's head to control him but Gonzalez postures up.
Gonzalez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Gonzalez stops Tyson from getting back to his feet.
Gonzalez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gonzalez is working for a kimura but Tyson is defending it quite comfortably.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Devon Gonzalez.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tyson sprawls well. Tyson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet.

Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tyson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gonzalez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Gonzalez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gonzalez closes the distance and clinches up with Tyson, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes Tyson against the cage but Tyson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gonzalez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tyson lands a leg kick that knocks Gonzalez off balance momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tyson connects with a leg kick. Gonzalez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Gonzalez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Tyson leaves Gonzalez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gonzalez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tyson can pounce on him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tyson throws a shot to the body.
An inside leg kick lands from Tyson.
Tyson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gonzalez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tyson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyson but Tyson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Luke Tyson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That kick from Tyson tenderised Gonzalez's leg. Gonzalez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tyson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Gonzalez is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Tyson fakes the body blow, causing Gonzalez to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gonzalez goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
