Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ibbe Ribbler will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbler has his takedown stuffed
and White counters with a shoot takedown. Ribbler fights it but they end up in guard.
White decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ribbler, up you get!
Ribbler misses with a takedown
and White counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Still in half guard, White seems content to control.
Ribbler looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Douglas White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ibbe Ribbler.
White remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Ribbler regains half guard.
White is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ribbler is just riding it out for now. White eventually gives up the hold.

and White counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ribbler's guard now.
White is stalling in the full guard.

Ribbler is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked White off and has taken his back!
White turns into Ribbler and is now in his guard.
White is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

White has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

White controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ribbler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ribbler has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though.
Ribbler is breathing heavily.
White slips nicely into half guard.

White is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Ribbler is trying to improve his position.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Ribbler wants to improve his position, back to half guard but White has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Ribbler's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Ribbler is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for White!
