Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cung Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Drummond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Untouchable . Arnold Drummond is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le ducks under a wild hook from Drummond.
Drummond wants to slow Le down by chopping away at his legs.
Drummond pushes Le away with a front kick.

Le misses with a hook to the body
enabling Drummond to counter with a crisp jab.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Le.
Cung Le seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Le lands a nice leg kick that just misses Drummond's sensitive parts.

That has opened up Arnold Drummond's cut even more.
Drummond takes an elbow to the temple.
Le is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Drummond misses with a short punch on the inside.

Drummond is trying to break the clinch but Le is controlling him.
Le blocks an uppercut.
Drummond swings wildly with an uppercut but Le uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Le obliges.
Drummond throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Les head.
Drummond has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Le lands a knee to the head.
Le tries to land knees in the clinch but Drummond avoids the damage to the body.
Drummond swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Le managing to block the knees to the body from Drummond.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The cut above Arnold Drummond's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A solid leg kick lands there for Drummond.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Le drops Drummond with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Drummond looks back up at him and smiles so Le waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Drummond misses with a low kick.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Drummond in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Drummond tried to score with a low kick but Le checks it.

Le thuds a left hand into Drummond's body.
Drummond throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drummond tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Le is able to avoid easily.
Le cracks Drummond with an open hand slap.

Arnold Drummond's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Le lands a big head kick that sends Drummond tumbling to the mat! Le takes a step backwards and waves Drummond back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Drummond is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Arnold Drummond's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
