Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Tokugawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shogun Tokugawa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Goon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Goon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Goon misses with a takedown
and Tokugawa counters with a body kick.
Tokugawa misses with a low kick.
Goon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tokugawa as he avoids it easily.
Goon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sho Goon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tokugawa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tokugawa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tokugawa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Tokugawa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Goon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Goon tries to bench press Tokugawa off him but Tokugawa keeps the position.

Goon is not content to let Tokugawa control the position.
Tokugawa cracks Goon with a big elbow.
Goon looks to move to half guard but instead Tokugawa has passed into mount! Damn!

Goon can't escape the position.

Tokugawa avoids the attempt from Goon to control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Goon tries to reverse the position but Tokugawa maintains control.

Tokugawa swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
