PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gionni Vitti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Boev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vitti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Forever Young. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boev has a takedown stuffed.
Vitti scores with a decent looking hook.
Boev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Boev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vitti pinned against the cage. Vitti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vitti displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boev.

Vitti slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Boev fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Vitti throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boev takes a jab right on the kisser.

Vitti stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vitti wants it to stay on the feet.
Boev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Boev walks straight into a right hand from Vitti - that's dropped him! Vitti jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Boev from any more punishment! Boev complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
