Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Allmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allmen comes to the cage accompanied by "Snakebite" by Racer X. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Burt Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allmen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Allmen wants to clinch up but Reynolds keeps it at a distance.
Reynolds fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Reynolds swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Allmen has closed the distance and engaged Reynolds in a clinch.

Allmen decides to pull guard.

Allmen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Reynolds is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Allmen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Reynolds's back instead.
Reynolds covering up well under a series of strikes from Allmen.
Reynolds tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Allmen tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Allmen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reynolds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reynolds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Allmen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reynolds gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
