The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.
Hong lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Hong is controlling him.

Hong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hong tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

Kris Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hong paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hong throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jackson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hong. Hong obviously looking to wear him down.

Hong lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Hong has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jackson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Hong wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.

Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kris Hong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Hong clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hong moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jackson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hong looks a forlorn figure.

Hong is looking to improve his position but Jackson isn't that keen on the idea.

Hong working to try and regain half guard.
Hong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jackson controlling the position well here. Hong rolled but Jackson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
