The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adrian punishes Carvalho's body with a nice straight punch.
Carvalho keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carvalho shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yo Adrian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carvalho ducks under a wild hook from Adrian.
Adrian scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Anderson Carvalho has been cut.
Carvalho fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Adrian to the ground. Carvalho is now in Adrian's guard.
Adrian wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carvalho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Carvalho wants to control from the top but Adrian keeps moving.
Carvalho wants to pass the guard but Adrian is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adrian can do anything to dispel that myth.
Carvalho drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Carvalho as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Adrian screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Carvalho! Nice submission victory there!
