PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Captain Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ano Aukanaii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is lukenback texas. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aukanaii connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kid thuds a left hand into Aukanaii's body.

Kid buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The crowd cheers as Kid lands an impressive looking overhand right. Aukanaii doesn't seem phased though.

Kid drops Aukanaii with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aukanaii looks back up at him and smiles so Kid waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kid lands a big head kick that sends Aukanaii tumbling to the mat! Kid takes a step backwards and waves Aukanaii back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kid cracks Aukanaii with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Aukanaii tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kid pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Aukanaii is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Captain Kid!
After the fight, Captain Kid was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
