With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Andre Mullard!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullard throws a series of punches but Kappa avoids them all with ease.
Kappa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Mullard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kappa tries to bench press Mullard off him but Mullard keeps the position.
Kappa stops Mullard from passing to mount.

Mullard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kappa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kappa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kappa is working hard here to advance position.
Kappa is not content to let Mullard control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kappa gets back to half guard.
Mullard sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kappa defending well though.

Kappa is staying active underneath Mullard, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kappa is trying to control but can't.
Mullard throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kappa manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Mullard passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Kappa wants to control but Mullard postures up.

Mullard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mullard tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kappa tries to buck Mullard off but Mullard is having none of it.
Kappa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kappa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mullard's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mullard's back!

Mullard rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Mullard is looking to improve his position.
Kappa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kappa trying to mount his opponent but Mullard defends it.
Kappa is trying to control the action in half guard but Mullard is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mullard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mullard moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kappa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kappa wants to control from the top but Mullard keeps moving.

Kappa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mullard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kappa looking to sit in guard and control but Mullard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mullard won't allow Kappa to sweep him here.

Kappa looking for a guillotine here but Mullard defends easily.
Mullard wants to control from the top but Kappa keeps moving.
Kappa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mullard passes Kappa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mullard works his way into side control.
Mullard in side control, throwing shots but Kappa defends.
Kappa prevents Mullard from improving position.
Mullard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kappa keeps working.
Mullard passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kappa!

Kappa is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mullard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mullard wants to control the pace but Kappa is squirming around nicely.

Kappa is rocked!
Mullard loads up with a big shot that hurts Kappa! He's pulled Mullard in close but Mullard has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Kappa survive? More strikes from Mullard and Kappa is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Andre Mullard!
