The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kohalic shoots for a takedown but Asashoryu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Asashoryu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kohalic moves out of range as Asashoryu strikes.
Asashoryu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kohalic on the side of the head.

and Kohalic counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
