Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anatoliy Lapikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harcore Prawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lapikov comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hells Bells . Prawn has chosen Rock Box - Run DMC as his entrance music. Harcore Prawn is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prawn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Prawn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Prawn throws a lazy right hand but Lapikov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lapikov avoids the head kick by Prawn.
Prawn connects with a looping right hand.
Prawn misses the jab.
Lapikov shoots in looking for a takedown. Prawn tries to sprawl out of it but Lapikov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prawn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Prawn missing with a left hand there. Lapikov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lapikov moves to clinch but Prawn breaks away
and Prawn makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lapikov really felt that one!
The crowd cheers as Prawn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lapikov doesn't seem phased though.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lapikov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Prawn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harcore Prawn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Prawn thuds his shin into the meat of Lapikov's side.
No luck for Lapikov with that takedown attempt.

Prawn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lapikov, pushing him back against the cage.
Lapikov has Prawn pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lapikov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Prawn tumbling to the mat - Lapikov dives into Prawn's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Prawn jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lapikov is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lapikov and Prawn has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Harcore Prawn wasn't active enough on the ground.

Prawn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lapikov's head backwards.

and Prawn counters with a left and a right that stings Lapikov.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lapikov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lapikov manages to end up in side control.
