Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Chavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Herald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herald moves out of range as Chavo strikes.

Herald stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chavo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that El Chavo will probably get the nod.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Justin Herald was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nice uppercut lands for Chavo. That snapped Herald's head back.
Chavo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Chavo throws a hook to the side of Herald's head but Herald sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Herald lands a nice hook to Chavo's body. Chavo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice straight punches there by Herald. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Herald.

Chavo shoots for a double leg takedown but Herald sprawls well. He's pushed Chavo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Justin Herald is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Herald bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chavo's head.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Chavo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Herald lands a really nice looking cross but Chavo seems unphased.

Herald connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Herald cracks Chavo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Chavo falls backwards against the cage. Herald follows up with more strikes that drop Chavo to his knees. Herald keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Chavo! This one is all over!

After the fight, Justin Herald was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
