Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toni Touhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Touhu comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - TNT. Martinez has chosen Iced Earth - A Question of Heaven as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Martinez. No joy for Touhu on that attempt.
Toni Touhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Martinez motions for Touhu to come forward. Martinez throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Martinez lands a really nice looking cross but Touhu seems unphased.
Martinez lands with a shot to the body.
Martinez throws a push kick but Touhu slaps the foot to one side.

Touhu closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Martinez's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Touhu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martinez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Touhu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Touhu drops back looking for a leg! Martinez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Martinez manages to kick Touhu off! Touhu jumps back into Martinez's guard.
Touhu postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Martinez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Touhu is fighting to break Martinez's control of his arms but Martinez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Touhu stands up from Martinez's guard - Touhu perhaps looking for a knockout.
Martinez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Touhu shoots in for a takedown but Martinez shows good takedown defense.
Martinez circles away from the clinch attempt
and Martinez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Touhu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Martinez lands with a straight right. Touhu didn't see that one coming.
Touhu closes the distance and clinches up with Martinez, looking for a takedown. Touhu pushes Martinez against the cage but Martinez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Martinez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Martinez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Touhu tries for a takedown but Martinez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Touhu tries to clinch up but Martinez circles away and keeps his distance.
Touhu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Martinez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Touhu momentarily.
Touhu closes the distance but Martinez moves to the side
and Martinez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A jab from Martinez does it's job there.
Martinez misses with an uppercut. Touhu saw that one coming.
Martinez connects with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Martinez counters with a good low kick that Touhu was not able to check.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Martinez, as that shot connected.

Touhu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Martinez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Oh Touhu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Martinez is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Martinez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Martinez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Martinez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Touhu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Martinez feints and then cracks Touhu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Touhu down.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Martinez moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Touhu! Martinez continues to tee off on Touhu, landing with a left and a right! Martinez connects with a right hand that leaves Touhu sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Martinez!
