Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Mickiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slurms Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Mickiewicz had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Slurms Mckenzie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alexander Mickiewicz's chin.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mickiewicz tries to clinch up
and Mckenzie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Slurms Mckenzie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mickiewicz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mckenzie. Mckenzie obviously looking to wear him down.
A good leg kick by Mckenzie.
Mckenzie throws a leg kick but Mickiewicz sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mckenzie connects with a leg kick. Mickiewicz looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Mickiewicz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Mickiewicz counters with a flying knee. Nice.

and Mickiewicz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mickiewicz avoids the elbow strike from Mckenzie, against the cage.

Mickiewicz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mckenzie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mickiewicz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mckenzie throws a nice head kick!
Mckenzie throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Mckenzie throws a leg kick which misses Mickiewicz's front leg but catches the back leg as Mickiewicz tries to avoid it.
Mckenzie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Alexander Mickiewicz has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Mckenzie.

Mckenzie connects with a solid leg kick.
Mckenzie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mickiewicz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mckenzie throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mickiewicz is rocked!
Mckenzie throws a quick head kick that knocks Mickiewicz silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Mckenzie is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Slurms Mckenzie!
After winning the bout, Slurms Mckenzie thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
