Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toni Manel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Spades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manel comes to the cage accompanied by A Portuguesa. Spades comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Im A Beast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manel misses with a takedown
and Spades counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Spades.
Spades prevents the takedown attempt.
Manel tries to score a body lock takedown but Spades shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toni Manel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spades makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Spades ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spades no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Manel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Spades holds on and takes a little breather.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manel slips a nice elbow through Spades's hands, connecting with Spades's forehead.
It looks like Ace Spades has been cut.
Manel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Spades does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Manel connects with a nice short shot to Spades's temple.
That has opened up Ace Spades's cut even more.
Manel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Manel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Manel lands with a punch from half guard.
The cut above Ace Spades's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ace Spades's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Toni Manel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
