Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ingemar Anders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Funny Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anders's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gods Son. Ingemar Anders has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingemar Anders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Funny Jobber!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jobber on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jobber throws a hook but Anders avoids it easily.
Nice straight punches there by Anders. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Anders.
Anders throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anders misses with a straight left.
Anders misses with a head kick.
Anders defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jobber.

Anders gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jobber to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Jobber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anders swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Anders is trying to hold Jobber in close to prevent damage but Jobber has managed to pass into half guard.

Jobber throwing shots but Anders is blocking nicely.
Anders trying to hold on to Jobber's head to control him but Jobber postures up.
Anders is trying to control but Jobber manages to pass to mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jobber can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anders is looking to escape.
Jobber tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Poor strikes thrown by Jobber there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jobber wants to control the pace but Anders is squirming around nicely.
Jobber sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Jobber avoids the attempt from Anders to control.

Jobber prevents Anders from getting the reversal.
Jobber can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anders is looking to escape.
Jobber controlling the pace for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Funny Jobber will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jobber avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jobber closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Anders did well to prevent Jobber getting side control.
Anders has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jobber is working away from the top position though.
Anders blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jobber.
Anders is looking to control Jobber's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Anders avoid being mounted?
Anders is staying active underneath Jobber, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ingemar Anders.
Anders thuds his right hand into Jobber's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jobber shoots in looking for a takedown. Anders tries to sprawl out of it but Jobber keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anders manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jobber closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Anders tries to buck Jobber off but Jobber is having none of it.

Jobber goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Anders rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jobber's guard! Nice work there by Anders!

Jobber working for submissions but it's allowed Anders to get to half guard.
Anders tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jobber knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Anders stalling.

Funny Jobber has got the better of the ground game so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Anders prevents Jobber from improving his position.
Jobber makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jobber.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Funny Jobber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Anders throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jobber stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ingemar Anders is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Anders displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jobber.
Anders misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Anders throws a leg kick which misses Jobber's front leg but catches the back leg as Jobber tries to avoid it.
A jab from Anders does it's job there.
Anders stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anders wants it to stay on the feet.
Jobber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anders pinned against the cage. Anders gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ingemar Anders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Funny Jobber.

Jobber darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Anders is looking to improve his position.

Anders won't allow Jobber to pass to mount.
Jobber seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anders does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jobber is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ingemar Anders just wasn't active enough.
Jobber tries to move into range but Anders moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ingemar Anders has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Anders lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ingemar Anders is winning the standup battle so far.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Anders.

Anders gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jobber works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jobber thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anders's head.
Anders tries to roll over but Jobber keeps him under control.
Jobber works his foot free and advances to mount.
Funny Jobber is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jobber wants to control the pace but Anders is squirming around nicely.

Jobber looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jobber controlling from the full mount.
Jobber looking to control but Anders is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Funny Jobber.
I've got Jobber winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Funny Jobber really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Brute logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
