Bryan comes to the cage accompanied by Flight of the Valkyries. Gevorg Petrosyan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gevorg Petrosyan!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Bryan misses.
Petrosyan jabs Bryan to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bryan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Petrosyan ducks under a wild hook from Bryan.
Bryan tries for a takedown but Petrosyan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Petrosyan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bryan did well to prevent Petrosyan getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Petrosyan in particular looking to stall.

Bryan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Petrosyan pulls his head out easily.

Bryan looking for submissions off his back.
Petrosyan is trying to control the action in half guard but Bryan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Petrosyan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bryan can't escape the position.

Bryan is working hard here to advance position.
Petrosyan looking to control but Bryan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bryan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Petrosyan lands a nice shot to the head.
Petrosyan unloads with some shots from mount but Bryan bucks and avoids them well.
Bryan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Petrosyan throwing shots but Bryan is blocking nicely.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Petrosyan in particular looking to stall.
Let's hope that Petrosyan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Bryan is refusing to be controlled, as Petrosyan sits in half guard.
Bryan tries to roll over but Petrosyan keeps him under control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gevorg Petrosyan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Petrosyan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown by Petrosyan or perhaps it was just good defense by Bryan which made him look bad.
Bryan lands with a straight right. Petrosyan didn't see that one coming.
Bryan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Daniel Bryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gevorg Petrosyan.
Bryan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Petrosyan lands a nice looking body shot.
A punch combination from Petrosyan misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Bryan.
Petrosyan looks winded!
Bryan scoring well with a low kick there.
Bryan catches Petrosyan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!


Petrosyan is rocked!
Bryan lands a front kick.
Bryan fakes the body blow, causing Petrosyan to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Petrosyan goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
