These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson avoids the body shot from Adamsky.
Watson moves out of range of the body kick from Adamsky.

Watson closes the distance and pushes Adamsky back into the cage.

Watson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Watson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Thomas Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Watson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Watson is looking to clinch but Adamsky is avoiding it.

Watson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adamsky.
Watson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Adamsky tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Adamsky needs to keep his hands up - Watson had a free shot at his head there.
Watson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adamsky moves away.
Adamsky takes a shot to the body in his stride.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Watson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Adamsky manages to avoid it.
