Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Omar Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Rackham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by The Notorious B.I.G - Ready to Die. Jack Rackham has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Omar Torres's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rackham tries to sprawl but Torres drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Torres prevents Rackham from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rackham can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rackham wants to control but Torres is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Torres perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Torres seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rackham has momentary wrist control but Torres slips an elbow through the middle.

Rackham feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Torress jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rackham shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Torres eats them both and turns towards Rackham to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Rackham is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rackham wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Rackham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Torres moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A lazy left from Rackham finds it's target.
Torres feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Torres seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Rackham shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Torres is backing up but Rackham catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Torres covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Rackham Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

After winning the bout, Jack Rackham thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
