Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duke Ellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baraka Simengwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simengwa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Afande Sele feat Ditto - Darubini kali. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simengwa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ellington swivels and escapes.
Decent striking displayed by Ellington there.
Ellington avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ellington dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ellington connects with a body shot that sends Simengwa's belly button to the back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ellington takes a swing at Simengwa's ribcage but misses.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Simengwa is defended easily by Ellington.
Duke Ellington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baraka Simengwa.
Ellington cracks Simengwa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ellington digs a good body shot into Simengwa's ribs.
Ellington lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Simengwa at a distance.
Ellington lands a jab to Simengwa's midsection.

The crowd cheers as Ellington lands an impressive looking overhand right. Simengwa doesn't seem phased though.
Duke Ellington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Simengwa doesn't manage to clinch there - Ellington circles away.
Simengwa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ellington cracks Simengwa's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Simengwa slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Ellington can do further damage! This one is done, son!
