Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jet Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatu Tikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tikki has chosen Ratatat - Loud Pipes as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

33 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tatu Tikki!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tikki rushes Thompson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Thompson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Tikki backwards.
Thompson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Thompson can't find room to land a body shot as Tikki controls the action.
Thompson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Thompson has hold of one of Tikki's legs. Tikki is fighting the takedown attempt but Thompson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tikki wants to sweep but no luck.
Tikki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Tikki is thwarting Thompson's attempts to control the position.
Thompson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tikki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tikki is looking to advance position but Thompson won't allow it.
Tikki uses his free foot to push down on Thompson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Thompson.

Tikki misses with a head shot.
Tikki lands a nice shot to the head.
Tikki trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Thompson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Thompson is looking to get to half guard.
Thompson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Tikki.

Tikki landing strikes from the mount.
It looks like Jet Thompson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson is squirming around, avoiding Tikki's attempts to control the action.
Thompson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Tikki throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Poor strikes thrown by Tikki there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Thompson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jet Thompson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jet Thompson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
