Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Antonio Silva !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Cormier!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cormier leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Cormier.
Cormier tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cormier somewhat.
Cormier misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Antonio Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Cormier.
Cormier gets a double leg takedown into Silva 's guard.
Silva kicks Cormier off and gets to his feet.
Cormier shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Cormier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Silva . No joy for Cormier on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cormier shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cormier!
Silva throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Cormier has his hands clasped together but Silva breaks the hold and Cormier is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Silva !
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Antonio Silva !
