Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjj Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koltun comes to the cage accompanied by Hans Solo - Dopoki jestem. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bjj Spar!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar throws a sloppy head kick and Koltun moves out of range easily.
Spar is looking to score with low kicks.
Koltun misses the jab.
Spar misses with a takedown attempt - Koltun sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Koltun counters with a nice leg kick.
Spar throws a nice inside leg kick.
Spar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Spar takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Spar looks to land a combination but Koltun avoids it well.

Spar has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Koltun is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spar.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Spar takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

That was a close round but I would say that Konrad Koltun will probably get the nod.

Spar shoots in for a takedown but Koltun shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Spar fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Koltun has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Spar bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A close second round but Bjj Spar will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Some bone on bone action there as Koltun checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Koltun takes a swing at Spar's ribcage but misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Spar lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Koltun has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Koltun and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Spar.

Koltun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Koltun counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Spar thinking.

Koltun moves into range and clinches up with Spar.
Spar misses with a punch on the inside.

Koltun lands a left hand.
Koltun stalls.
Koltun lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Koltun scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Spar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Koltun pulls his leg out and moves away.
Spar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Koltun is fending him off so far but Spar persists. Nope, Koltun circles away and we're back to standing.
Konrad Koltun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjj Spar.

Spar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Koltun plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Koltun gets caught napping as Spar dives in and scores a takedown. Koltun manages to retain guard.
Spar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Koltun has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
