O Brien 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rocky Road to Dublin. Donnie O Brien has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ehavoc Dugre!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien misses with a jab, cross combination.
O Brien fails in his attempt to clinch.
O Brien scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Ehavoc Dugre has been cut.
O Brien misses with a lunging right hand

and Dugre counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dugre.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ehavoc Dugre hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
O Brien is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dugre.
O Brien throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Dugre counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for O Brien !

Dugre is just content to waste time from the top position. O Brien takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
O Brien has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Dugre tries to free his leg and advance position but O Brien is retaining full guard.

Dugre seems to be working for a kimura but O Brien defends the submission attempt.
O Brien is looking to control Dugre's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can O Brien avoid being mounted?

Dugre must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dugre loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

O Brien is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

O Brien bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dugre's head backwards.
O Brien misses with an uppercut.
O Brien swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dugre shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as O Brien sprawls well. O Brien wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dugre gets slowly back to his feet.

Dugre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Dugre counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Donnie O Brien has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Dugre moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dugre looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? O Brien is fending him off so far but Dugre persists. Nope, O Brien circles away and we're back to standing.

and Dugre counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in O Brien 's guard now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dugre postures up in O Brien 's guard and throws a big left but O Brien blocks it.
O Brien looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

A close second round but Ehavoc Dugre will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Dugre wants the takedown. O Brien is fighting it off but Dugre persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in O Brien 's guard against the cage.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Ehavoc Dugre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Dugre winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
