Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Che Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasiek Pioncha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pioncha's choice of entrance music: Redemption Song (Bob Marley). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo looks for a takedown but Pioncha sprawls well.
Pioncha slips a jab from Diablo.
Pioncha cracks the inside of Diablo's front leg.
Diablo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pioncha manages to avoid it.
Jasiek Pioncha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diablo lunges at Pioncha with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pioncha's hand.
Pioncha tries to clinch but Diablo moves away
and Diablo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Pioncha turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Pioncha feints and then cracks Diablo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Diablo down.

Pioncha has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pioncha there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circle momentarily. Diablo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Diablo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pioncha moves away.
Pioncha leaves Diablo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Che Diablo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pioncha, right into the meat.
Diablo misses with a wild body shot.
Pioncha tries to clinch but Diablo moves out of range.

Diablo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pioncha defends it nicely.
A clash of legs there as Diablo blocks the low kick.

and Diablo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Diablo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pioncha won't be happy with that.

Pioncha manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Diablo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Diablo is squirming around, avoiding Pioncha's attempts to control the action.
Pioncha is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jasiek Pioncha will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Diablo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Pioncha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diablo, pushing him back against the cage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Pioncha using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Diablo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Diablo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pioncha blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Diablo misses with some punches.
Diablo doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pioncha lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Diablo is trying to maintain a safe position but Pioncha gets an underhook and turns Diablo into the cage.

Pioncha tries to work over Diablo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Pioncha lands a big knee to the head and Diablo goes down! Pioncha pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!
