Riggs comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eminem - not afraid kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chad Rowe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Riggs!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Riggs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rowe somewhat.
Rowe is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rowe shoots for a double leg takedown but Riggs sprawls well. He's pushed Rowe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Riggs throws a body punch but Rowe moves out of range.
A slow jab from Rowe misses its intended target.

Rowe clinches with his opponent.
Rowe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Riggs prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Rowe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rowe lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Riggs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Rowe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Riggs pulls his leg out and moves away.
Rowe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Riggs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rowe scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Chad Rowe has been cut.
Riggs fails to land with a series of punches.
Rowe shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Riggs defends it nicely.

Rowe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Riggs quickly recovers to half guard.

Rowe stands up over Riggs, holding on to his feet. Rowe throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Riggs is out cold! Rowe lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
