Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumble Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry comes to the cage accompanied by Busters Back. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cherry wants it to stay on the feet.

Lord got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cherry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lord has managed to get both his arms back between Cherry's legs - danger averted.

Cherry feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lords jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lord throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cherry tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lord is in Cherry's guard.

Buster Cherry has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Lord feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Cherry connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Buster Cherry will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cherry feints with a jab and clips Lord right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Lord is sent crashing into the canvas and Cherry leaps in for the kill! Lord tries to get to his feet but Cherry is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Lord is in need of a savior and steps in!

In his post fight interview, Buster Cherry started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
