Mccoy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kanen pinned against the cage. Kanen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kanen lunges at Mccoy with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mccoy's hand.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mccoy. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mccoy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kanen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mccoy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kanen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Mccoy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Kanen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mccoy. Mccoy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mccoy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kanen circles away quickly and effectively.

Kanen cracks Mccoy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mccoy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kanen finish him?

Kanen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mccoy throws a jab but it's blocked by Kanen.
Kanen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mccoy can pounce on him.
Mccoy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kanen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mccoy fails with the takedown.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mccoy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kanen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kanen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A left lands for Kanen.

Kanen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mccoy sprawling to the canvas! Mccoy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kanen finish him?!
Oh Mccoy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kanen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kanen lands a brutal head kick. Mccoy looks out on his feet and Kanen throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Samor Kanen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
