Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luana Peroba Filgueiras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Luana Peroba Filgueiras has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Luana Peroba Filgueiras seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Filgueiras.
Wolfe fails with a takedown attempt.
Wolfe blocks the body kick.
Filgueiras fails to land with a series of punches.

Filgueiras postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Filgueiras is trying to get an arm triangle but Wolfe is defending well.

Wolfe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Filgueiras swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wolfe is now in Filgueiras's guard. A big mistake from Filgueiras there, giving up the dominant position!
Filgueiras is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Filgueiras moves into full mount! Wolfe won't be happy about that!

Filgueiras fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Filgueiras is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wolfe can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Filgueiras swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wolfe is now in Filgueiras's guard. A big mistake from Filgueiras there, giving up the dominant position!
Filgueiras scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wolfe shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Filgueiras counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Luana Peroba Filgueiras has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephan Wolfe.

Filgueiras slaps away a takedown attempt from Wolfe, before circling back to the center of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wolfe shoots for a takedown but Filgueiras saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wolfe enables Filgueiras to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wolfe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Filgueiras lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Filgueiras shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Filgueiras was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wolfe tries to reverse the position but Filgueiras maintains control.

Filgueiras has hold of Wolfe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wolfe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wolfe is still in real trouble! Can Filgueiras finish him?
Filgueiras takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wolfe seems to have recovered his senses.
