The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wazowski throws out a loose jab but Fayth uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fayth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fayth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fayth postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wazowski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fayth, into his guard.
Ray Fayth has got the better of the ground game so far.

Fayth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fayth manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fayth has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Wazowski! Can he survive? No! He's out! Fayth gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
