Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Eckstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Kozko!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozko throws the kick towards the body but Eckstein avoids it.

Eckstein gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kozko breaks from the clinch.
Eckstein scores with a head kick.
Eckstein lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kozko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eckstein circles away quickly and effectively.
Eckstein fails in his attempt to clinch.
Eckstein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kozko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

That kick from Eckstein tenderised Kozko's leg. Kozko is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kozko throws a right and a left that Eckstein avoids nicely.
Jason Eckstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Eckstein ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kozko moves away.
Eckstein tries to close the distance and clinch but Kozko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kozko's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Eckstein doesn't manage to clinch there - Kozko circles away.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Eckstein throws a half hearted mid kick.

Sloppy strikes from Kozko. Those never looked like landing.

Eckstein feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kozkos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A right handed body shot lands from Eckstein.
Eckstein lands an elbow inside that Kozko shrugs off.
Eckstein landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Eckstein pushes Kozko back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kozko tries to break the clinch but Eckstein is controlling the position.

Eckstein connects with a quick right hand that sends Kozko tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the cage, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Jason Eckstein spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
