The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Resso throws a low kick but Lewis moves out of range easily.
Resso pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lewis is out of range and Resso settles back down.
Resso closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Resso just misses with a punch to the body.
Lewis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Resso throws out the jab.

Oh Resso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Resso seems to have got his legs back now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Resso has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lewis clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Resso thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Resso doesn't have the hooks in and Lewis manages to turn into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lewis missing with a left hand there. Resso was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Resso shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lewis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Resso looking to sit in guard and control but Lewis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lewis sends Resso crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lewis is motioning to the referee to let Resso up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lewis drops Resso with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Resso! Lewis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
