Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demian Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vida Bandida. White lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Maia. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Maia walks straight into a right hand from White - that's dropped him! White jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Maia from any more punishment! Maia complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

After the fight, Dana White was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
