The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwarzeneg misses with a takedown
and Gridlock counters with a good low kick that Schwarzeneg was not able to check.
Schwarzeneg chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gridlock can pounce on him.

and Gridlock moves into the clinch.
Schwarzeneg has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gridlock after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Veli Schwarzeneg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
