Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Pablo Ramlho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hilio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramlho comes into the arena with Back To The Primitive - Soulfly blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws an overhand right that lands on Ramlho's shoulder, as Ramlho tries to avoid the shot.
Ramlho connects with a leg kick. Gracie looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Ramlho tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ramlho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ramlho's head.
Ramlho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie wants to take a breather but Ramlho is having none of it.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Ramlho is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Gracie is looking to pass Ramlho's guard but actually Ramlho recovers to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ramlho throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hilio Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ramlho tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ramlho to the ground. Ramlho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ramlho catches Gracie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ramlho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Juan Pablo Ramlho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hilio Gracie.

Ramlho cracks Gracie with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ramlho stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Gracie is keen to just control but Ramlho is a slippery customer.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Ramlho shows good takedown defense.

Gracie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ramlho throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gracie lands a nice short elbow.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ramlho sees it coming and defends easily.

Gracie throws a strike but Ramlho rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ramlho!

Gracie throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Ramlho frees his head quite easily.
Gracie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The referee warns Ramlho that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
