PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emil Constantinescu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Top Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk connects with an inside leg kick.
Turk slips a jab and a cross from Constantinescu.
Turk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Turk lands a leg kick that knocks Constantinescu off balance momentarily.
Horrible takedown by Constantinescu or perhaps it was just good defense by Turk which made him look bad.
Constantinescu throws a jab when Turk was well out of range.
Constantinescu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Constantinescu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Turk can pounce on him.
Constantinescu shoots in for a takedown but Turk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Constantinescu goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Constantinescu is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Turk can't fight it off and eventually Constantinescu manages to take the fight to the floor. Turk looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Constantinescu gets to his feet - Turk follows without any prompting.

Turk decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Turk's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
