The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin delivers a nice body kick.
Zbogdanca takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Zbogdanca dives in and grabs Griffin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes down on Zbogdanca's head and hops out.
Griffin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Griffin cracks the inside of Zbogdanca's front leg.
Griffin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zbogdanca's head backwards.

It looks like Zbyszko Zbogdanca has been cut.
Griffin lands with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zbogdanca takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Zbogdanca dives in and scores a takedown into Griffin's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Griffin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Griffin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Forrest Griffin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Zbogdanca fails to land the takedown.
Griffin throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zbogdanca's head.

Griffin lands with a kick to the temple. Zbogdanca shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Oh Zbogdanca is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Zbyszko Zbogdanca's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Griffin lands a brutal head kick. Zbogdanca looks out on his feet and Griffin throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Forrest Griffin opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
