Fossmo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Helge Fossmo predikar. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fossmo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crax wants to control but Fossmo postures up.
Fossmo cracks Crax with an elbow. That is naaassty.

It looks like Rutger Crax has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crax is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fossmo asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Crax is looking for a sweep.
Fossmo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Crax sneaks back into half guard.
Crax wants to improve his position but Fossmo is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fossmo working over Crax with some ground and pound. Crax looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

That has opened up Rutger Crax's cut even more.

Crax has his foot on Fossmo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fossmo works his way back into a safe position though.
Fossmo is in close to Crax's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The cut above Rutger Crax's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rutger Crax's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Helge Fossmo decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
