Ivey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Friday. Guerra Salsido has chosen Cuba Anthem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Guerra Salsido manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Guerra Salsido throws a hook but Ivey avoids it easily.
Ivey feints and then cracks Guerra Salsido's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Guerra Salsido down.

Ivey gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ivey lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Guerra Salsido is trying to break the clinch but Ivey is controlling him.
