With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abdoul Murquite!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murquite dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Murquite wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Murquite controls the pace.
Murquite postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Murquite got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murquite has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.

Murquite wants to work for an arm triangle but Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
