Ortiz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I am a real American. Randy Ortiz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with High Voltage's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Ortiz as he connects with a hook.
Voltage throws a half hearted mid kick.
Voltage fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ortiz is out of range.
Ortiz thows a body shot but no joy.
Ortiz misses the body punch
and Voltage counters with a low kick, right behind Ortiz 's knee.

Voltage gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Voltage is pulling down on Ortiz's head to control his posture.
Voltage looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortiz is one step ahead there.

Voltage tries a low kick but Ortiz avoids it.
Voltage takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ortiz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Voltage - the referee stops the clock and Ortiz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Voltage. Ortiz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Ortiz connects with a leg kick. Voltage looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Voltage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ortiz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ortiz. Voltage does a little dance to reset his feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ortiz. That's going to slow Voltage down.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ortiz.
Voltage is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Ortiz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Voltage's guard.

Well Ortiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
