The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroya works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Stroya pivots, looking for a leg kick but Batistuta is out of range and Stroya settles back down.
Stroya dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Batistuta. That did some damage!
Batistuta pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Batistuta.
Dee Stroya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Batistuta wants to land a leg kick but Stroya is out of range.
Batistuta sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Good leg kick by Stroya there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stroya thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Batistuta if he has to take too many more of those.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stroya feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Batistuta sprawling to the canvas! Batistuta rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stroya finish him?!
