Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silver Boo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boo's entrance music is BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. A fine choice. Parantainen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Limp Bizkit - My Way . Silver Boo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parantainen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Boo dips to his left and cracks Parantainen with an uppercut!
Horrible takedown by Parantainen or perhaps it was just good defense by Boo which made him look bad.

We're going to have a standup here because Silver Boo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Parantainen shoots in but Boo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Parantainen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boo's waist but Boo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Parantainen off to one side.

Boo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Boo throws a shot from downtown. Parantainen moves away and avoids it.

Parantainen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Boo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Parantainen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Parantainen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boo.
Parantainen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Parantainen somewhat.
Parantainen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Boo counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Parantainen! He's just covering up as Boo starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

A determined Silver Boo didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
