The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Blacks counters with a head kick. That will keep Markanen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Markanen closes the distance and clinches up with Blacks, looking for a takedown. Markanen pushes Blacks against the cage but Blacks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Blacks closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Markanen to the mat! Markanen manages to get full guard.
